MA Students Published Entry on EJAtlas
13.02.2024
MA Environment and Society students Ana Genz, Agnese Brigatti, Julia Dorsch, and Maya von Ahnen added a conflict case to the Global Environmental Justice Atlas (EJAtlas). Their entry addresses the Hasenbergl Tunnel, an infrastructure project proposed by Munich’s city council. The envisioned tunnel would go through a low-income neighborhood and threaten green and community spaces, which has stirred up opposition from locals and climate activists.
The EJAtlas is an online interactive platform. It documents social conflicts around environmental issues and is run by a team of researchers and activists.
This student project was supervised by Director of Environmental Humanities Development Dr. Hanna Straß-Senol in the course of the Environment and Justice module.
